In high school I devoted myself to pre-professional ballet training and discovered a passion for teaching when offered the opportunity to run children's dance classes. At Harvard, I continue to pursue ballet, manage a cafe, volunteer as a tutor for incarcerated youth, and continue to be challenged and excited by my studies in both the English and French departments.

​I have live in the south of France all my life. I have dedicated much of my life to music, both in performance on the piano and as a singer, and also through the study of theory, composition and conducting. My interest range is wide: I study theoretical classes in computer science and math, but also love art, architecture, and poetry.

Hi! My name is Annelie. I’m an EMT at Harvard with CrimsonEMS and love all things medicine and science, but also love reading in my free time. When I get a break from studying or working, I’m either oudoors running, hiking, or skiing, or else playing piano and singing. I’ve been tutoring for six years now and have been tutoring in standardized testing for the past two. I love learning, love teaching, and generally love life.

Graduated in 2016, I served as Co-Director of Response Peer Counseling and Vice President of Operations for the Harvard College Debating Union. I worked as a peer tutor for Harvard in Calculus, Chemistry, and Biology, a Peer Research Fellow for Harvard Libraries and worked as a supervisor, and a case manager for the Harvard Square Summer Homeless Shelter. In the fall, I will serve with AmeriCorps to teach high school debate, conduct vision screening for low-income preschoolers, and manage income tax clinics for low-income families in Birmingham, Alabama.

A recipient of the Society of Women Engineers 2012 Certificate of Merit for High Honor in Science and Mathematics and a senior at Harvard, I compete for the varsity track and cross-country teams, and enjoy reading, hiking, baking, and biking in my spare time.
